The mission of the WPSD Cyber Academy is to provide every student with an intellectually stimulating educational experience. We offer students an alternative learning environment based upon their unique personalities. Each student’s courses are carefully selected to match their learning style and post secondary school options. The program utilizes a variety of web based learning tools within the standards based courses. Students can select from more than 150 courses, some of which are textbook free. We offer a wide variety of core course and electives. While using the courseware, students use instant messaging, wikis, threaded discussions, websites and other Web2.0 tools to enhance the learning experience. Each morning, students participate in Homeroom with our distance education facilitator. During this time, students engage in exciting activities which broaden their educational horizons.
